Business Controller
Vention seeks a Business Controller to manage financial processes, lead teams, and collaborate strategically. Candidates need five years of experience, strong communication skills, and a passion for technology.

Why?
As a Business Controller, you are responsible for and manage all financial and administrative flows within Vention Technologies. You will be part of the Management Team and report directly to the CEO. You ensure accurate financial information so that the company can be financially managed, and you serve as a sparring partner for the rest of the Management Team, providing both solicited and unsolicited advice.
Additionally, you will contribute to a rapidly changing and growing organization that, in addition to executing projects, also develops and delivers products. This means that, depending on your own ambition and experience, you can also contribute to other aspects. You will lead the financial administrative staff (1.1 FTE) and maintain contacts with external parties such as the accountant, the bank, and the tax authorities.
What?
- Financial Management: Ensure adequate financial administration and alignment with operations.
- Pricing Policy Development: Contribute to the pricing policy of our products and services.
- Internal Controls: Determine and implement internal control systems.
- Invoicing and Debtor Management: Invoice delivered services and products, and manage accounts receivable.
- Budgeting and Reporting: Prepare budgets and financial reports on a monthly and quarterly basis.
- Team Leadership: Lead and support the financial administrative team, including task allocation and performance monitoring.
- Stakeholder Communication: Maintain contacts with external parties such as accountants, banks, and tax authorities.
- Continuous Improvement: Actively participate in the growth and transformation of Vention, including project and product development.
Who?
Passionate about Finance and Technology: You enjoy working in a tech environment and can convey your enthusiasm to others.
Experienced Professional: You have at least five years of relevant experience in a similar role, preferably in Tech/SaaS companies or accountancy.
Strategic and Analytical: You have strong analytical skills and can provide strategic financial insights.
Effective Communicator: You are proficient in Dutch and English, both spoken and written, and can communicate effectively with various stakeholders.
Resilient and Adaptive: You thrive in a dynamic, rapidly growing organization and can manage changing priorities.
Team Leader: You can lead and inspire your team, ensuring effective and efficient operations.
