What you’ll be doing
You’ll help keep the human engine of Vention running smoothly. That includes:
- Supporting the day-to-day HR operations: contracts, onboarding checklists, organizing evaluations.
- Being the friendly face of employee experience: from birthday celebrations to quick check-ins.
- Helping out with recruitment coordination.
- Taking part in team events, workshops, and training sessions—and occasionally organizing them.
- Lending a hand in keeping the office vibe high: equipment, lunches, logistics.
- Collaborating with Joost on next-level HR topics: think leadership development, feedback culture, or redefining “career paths”.
You won’t just follow instructions—you’ll help make Vention a better place to work, one idea at a time.
What you’ll learn:
- How to turn “HR” into “People & Culture”—you’ll get an insider’s view on how to build a people-first organization.
- How culture and operations go hand-in-hand: the balance between heart and structure.
- What it means to work in a tech-driven, high-speed, high-freedom environment.
- The not-so-glamorous (but important) details of HR, and how to keep your energy and vision alive doing them.
Who are we looking for:
- Studying HRM, People & Business, Psychology, or something similar at HBO/WO level.
- Available for at least 4–5 months starting September.
- Curious, reliable, structured—but also creative and full of ideas.
- Someone who gets energy from people, impact, and organized chaos.
- A great communicator in Dutch and English.
- Not afraid to take initiative or ask questions.
