CRA changes the game

The Cyber Resilience Act sets mandatory cybersecurity requirements for all connected devices and software sold in the EU.

This includes firmware, apps, backends, cloud platforms, and data flows. If your product connects, it must comply, regardless of where it’s made.

Vention helps you design secure systems from the ground up or update existing ones to meet the CRA before the deadline.

Does the CRA apply to your device?

    CRA and what’s expected

To comply with the CRA, you need to embed security at every stage, keep it updated, and show clear evidence of your process.

    Secure by Design

Start with a risk-based architecture that includes every interface and asset.

    Resilient Development

Use secure coding, authenticate updates, and log system activity.

    Lifecycle Monitoring

Monitor for vulnerabilities and deliver security updates for at least 5 years.

    Full-System Scope

Include firmware, apps, cloud infrastructure, and data management.

    Compliance Documentation

Show how risks are addressed with clear, traceable evidence.

    Issue Reporting

Have procedures in place to report major incidents to EU authorities within 24 hours.

No compliance means no market access

From December 2027, CRA rules are mandatory across the EU. If your product doesn’t comply, it can’t be placed on the market.
Delays in preparation can lead to:

    • Blocked launches
    • Compliance costs under pressure
    • Damaged customer trust

Starting early protects your budget, timeline, and brand.
