From 1 August 2025, every device with Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, LTE or similar radio components sold in the EU must meet cybersecurity requirements under the Radio Equipment Directive of Article 3.3 (d), (e), and(f):
This isn’t just for new products. Any connected device sold after this date must comply and be CE-marked accordingly.
